Good Thursday morning. I wanted to share the card I made for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. She loves to receive my flower cards. I thought the Memory Box Cherry Blossom die would be perfect paired with the Twigs & Berries.
I cut the flowers using pink cardstock and formed them with a stylus and mat. I attached the split petals together with Glossy Accents and lightly sponged Worn Lipstick. I used a Worn Lipstick Distress Marker to color the little tips of the flower center. I die cut three Twigs & Berries branches out of brown cardstock and the leaves out of Old Olive cardstock. I formed them with the stylus and mat and then lightly sponged using Shabby Shutters.
I die cut the Poppy Stamps Splendor Frame , attached mounting tape on the back of it and attached to the white embossed card base. I used Glossy Accents to attach the flowers and leaves to the branches and then arranged and attached them to the white layer using Glossy Accents. I attached rolled up Glue Dots to the bottom of a couple of the leaves to hold them in place. This is very simple but I love how it turned out.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you have a great Thursday.

What a lovely card! Your apple blossoms are so pretty! They looks real and so dainty, like a spring breeze could blow them away.

Beautiful, love the flowers and neat texture behind them, great use of the dies!
Really lovely card Kittie ~ the whicker embossing in the background is different. I’m sure your MIL will absolutely adore this, as would ANYone who is special enough to receive your creations 🙂
