Back Yard Tire Swing

Good Wednesday morning!  I have a back yard tire scene to share with you today made using my new Impression Obsession Solid Tree Set along with the fence die. This set coordinates with the tree die that I used a few posts ago.

I stamped the tree, stamped the leaves around the limbs in both Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Ink and then sponged in light green to fill the tree top. I sponged in the ground area and filled in using the mini fern stamp from my Kittie Kits Outdoor Master and sponged in the sky using a handmade cloud template. I used the mini fern stamp to add a few dots of red flowers along the grass border to create interest.

I stamped the bird and tire and cut out.  I used linen thread to hang the tire from the tree limb and popped the bird up on a limb.  I die cut the white fence and attached directly to the base of the scene with Glossy Accents.  I cut one of the sections off and created an open fence gate leading into the back yard. I punched tiny foliage using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch and then filled in the whole foliage border with tiny flowers from the Memory Box Flower Mound die. I love creating scenes and adding popped up images and die cuts to add depth and dimension.
