Vintage Posies

Good Monday morning!  I have another Belleek Inspired  project to share with you today. I wanted to use my new Poppy Stamps  Lorelai Leaf and thought it would look so pretty paired with the Spellbinders Floral Oval and My favorite Things Pretty Posies.

I brayered the embossing folder with Antique Linen Distress Ink and ran it through the Big Shot with vanilla cardstock. The Floral Oval was cut and then I cut the inner oval out to create the frame.  I attached the embossed layer to the card base and then attached the oval frame with mounting tape.KC MFT PRetty Posies 5 center

I used vanilla cardstock for the Pretty Posies and the Floral Delights flowers and sponged them with Antique Linen ink. I used olive cardstock for the foliage, distressed the leaves and then sponged with Antique Linen to age. The foliage and flowers were attached using glossy accents and finished with pearls. I love the vintage feel of the flower and foliage against the embossed background and floral oval frame.KC MFT Pretty Posies 5 right

  1. This is so very ✿PRETTY✿
The leaves just pop right off the page. The card itself, reminds me of a vintage doiley my Nanny would have beneath some of her favorite treasures.
TFS & have a wonderful week!

  2. Very, very pretty! Thanks for sharing this, I’ve been looking for a place to get smaller, less expensive dies. I love the leaves and branch dies. Thanks again, Jess

  5. WOW – just came across your blog accidentally and nearly dropped when I saw this – I’m originally from Belleek – the pottery was at the bottom of my garden & my next door neighbour is still the Head Designer for all of the pottery’s new designs (since the early 1990’s)!!! I moved from Belleek up to Belfast in 1980 but my family continued to live on in the village post office until quite recently.
Just SO lovely to see a little reminder of my childhood village in such an unexpected place :)).
    Thanks
    Romayne
