French Script and Butterfly

Good Monday morning. I have an elegant but simple black and cream card to share with you today using three Rubbernecker images.

I love the French Script background and I seem not to use it often enough.  It always adds such a soft background. The Petunia image seemed like the perfect open flower to stamp over the script and to emboss.  The lovely black embossed butterfly from the Butterflies are Free is the perfect center.

I cut the  frame opening from the Oval Flourish with a large classic oval die.  I cut the opening in the script flower layer with a smaller oval die.  I used mounting tape between each layer of the frame for dimension.

The butterfly was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black  and embossed with clear embossing powder. I attached it to the center of the inner opening with glossy accents. I think this card would be perfect for any occasion.

  1. Good Morning Kittie, This is such a clever idea. I really like the butterfly in flight, and the open center. and the black and white. Love your background stamps as well……my wish list is now longer…thanks for sharing such inspiration……have a good day
