Good Thursday morning. Welcome to the Impression Obsession design team blog hop. Our challenge today was to create a fun “bewitching Halloween” project. I couldn’t resist playing with dies and creating a multi layered scene for fun and spooky dimension.
For my project I used Halloween Hill, Fence Border and Happy Halloween sentiment.
I started by die cutting the Halloween Hill scene three times and attaching them together with mounting tape. I cut a few extra trees and attached in the background to add an extra bit of spookiness and then attached the fence border in the back if the scene. I attached the scene to the card base with ATG adhesive.
I created a crimped layer matching the card base to put in front the scene to break up all the black. I added the grave marker, cat and Jack-o-lantern to the sentiment and added lots of bats flying around for one more element of spooky.
Here is closer view so you can see all the layers.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Thanks for coming by today. I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
