Good Saturday morning. I have been making so many colorful Christmas cards using traditional red and green. I have to admit that I am ready to move on to making non holiday cards with flowers of all kinds and die cut image scenes for spring. I decided to create a soft pink and white Layered Poinsettia card as one of my final holiday cards and to start heading in the spring color direction..
I love the delicate and frilly white oval behind the soft pink flowers and pale green pine.
I added tiny white pearls in the center of the poinsettias and ribbon loop and tails for a perfect finishing touch.
Here’s a closer look.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend preparing for your Christmas holiday. My husband has to work until 11:00 pm on Christmas Eve and all day Christmas day so we are celebrating our Christmas together this weekend. Mickey Mouse takes no holidays. LOL!
