Good Saturday morning. I missed a day of posting and am posting really late
this morning. I’ve had a busy work week and I am so happy it’s the weekend.
How about you?
My project today is made using the Leaf Cluster, one of my newest favorite new dies by Impression Obsession. I purchased the Bare Branch when it was released last year because I love
creating branches and trees on my projects. My only disappointment was that it
had only one leaf die and it took quite a while to cut enough to fill the
branches. I wrote Mitra, the owner of Impression Obsession and asked if she
would consider making a die that would cut several leaves at once and could
coordinate with the branch. Woo Hoo! She did!!! If you have the Bare Branch in your collection then you are definitely going
to want to add the Leaf Cluster as well.
I cut the branch using kraft paper and then sponged it with vintage photo distress ink. I cut the leaf clusters using light green paper,
formed lightly with my stylus and mat and attached to the branches using glossy accents. I formed several tiny flowers using the Memory Box Flower Mound and formed them with my stylus and mat and attached to the leaves with glossy accents.
I cut one Grass Border and attached to the card base with rolled glue dots. I cut a small strip of green to use as a
border for the grass and attached with glossy accents. I cut a couple Leafy Branch 2 sections, cut them apart, attached the tiny
flowers with glossy accents and tucked them in behind the grass to create a
flower border. I finished by adding several butterflies cut from the Memory Box Butterfly Delights. This card is clean and simple and would be
perfect for any occasion.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have had a great start to your
weekend.

it is because I have both the Impression Obsession and Memory Box

wow, this is gorgeous Kittie.
So pretty. You are the queen of these metal dies. I love all your cluster ones.
Good afternoon, kittie, I am late today. Lovely card, such a different background. the die images work beautifully with the background. love the difference….have a good evening.
It is so gorgeous Kittie the way you used it.
Very pretty. I have 3 different grasses but I’ve decided a gal can’t have too many grasses and I wish to add this one to my collection. I also like the new leaf set you used. The card is sooo pretty!
I love you project for today, specially that tree!
Thanks for sharing.
