I fell in love with the new Brush Tree Line image.  I love making moonlight snowy scene Christmas cards.  This new image is just perfect.  Check out my Winter Moonlight Snow Scene tutorial if you would like to see the steps I used to make my card.

Another favorite technique of mine is framing my scene.  Everything seems to go better with a frame.  LOL! I also love popping them up with mounting tape.  I should buy stock in it.

Another favorite thing of mine is adding pine branches to my framed holiday cards.  I chose to keep this all white so the blue night scene would pop.  I love the texture of the white branches and how they add to the project without taking over the show.

  1. Very pretty! I have the pine branch die but can not get it to cut correctly, & I’ve tried several things, but no luck. Any suggestions?

  3. Your card is simply beautiful! I love the moonlit background for the little row of trees and the frame and pine spray on the front set the whole scene off so perfectly. You technique with the layers and depth on your cards is just amazing.

  4. Kittie, I always love your scenery cards. This one is no exception. 😉 I love scene’s for Christmas cards too. I have two or three different tree stamps. But none are this small.
I might ‘have’ to have another! Thanks for sharing, and for the chance to win too.

  12. Lovely, as always, Kittie! Your sky in this one is different than the one in the tutorial, so I’m curious how you did it. I really like the “speckled” effect on this one so I wondered if you did it with sponging (maybe pouncing the sponge?) or, if you possibly used an ink spray or spritzer of some sort to get your speckled look??? I can never get even speckles when I use those ink sprays so if that’s what you used and you have any techniques that might help, I’d love to hear them!! 🙂 That new tree stamp really makes a perfect scene!

  15. What a lovely card. You can just feel the moonlight bathing the trees. Great idea to do the pine branches in white. It adds a nice touch.
