My project today was made using the new Watercolor Oak image and Leaves die set.   I love making fall cards almost as much as Christmas cards.  It brings back wonderful memories of the beautiful colored leaves during the fall where I grew up in West Virginia.

I started by inking up the stamp with really rust, misting lightly with water, stamping it on vanilla cardstock and attaching to the card base. I created a double matted frame and mounted over the leaf image with mounting tape.

I cut several leaves and added color using my Pan Pastel.  You can check out a few step by step photos on my Leaves with Pan Pastel here. When I finished coloring the leaves I applied versa and embossed them with clear embossing powder to add shine. Here’s a closer view.

I love the clean and simple framed image with the pop of dimension leaves as an embellishment.
