My project today was made using Brick House, Square House, Fir Trees, Fir Sprig Set and Fence Border.

I love making house cards and was very excited to see the two precious house sets in the new release.  I mixed and matched them together to create my winter cottage in the woods. I have been wanting to try my hand at making a bendi fold card for a while and thought the house and trees would be the perfect images to make it with. If you aren’t familiar with this card layout you can see a wonderful step by step tutorial and video over on Splitcoaststampers. I must admit that this was a real challenge for me and is not perfectly put together but I like it and will definitely try it again.

I cut the brick house and square house parts out using white cardstock. I colored the roof line and house base it with a copper copic marker. I assembled all the door, windows, gable, chimney and roof pieces and attached to the house front. I decorated the windows and door with cut up fir sprigs and 1/8” punched circles.

I cut the trees and crimped them for dimension.  I attached one behind the house for height and banked one on both sides of the house to create a cozy setting.  KC Impression Obsession Brick House 1 open

I attached the fence to the left side of the bendi flap and made it meet the fixed piece of fence on the right side when closed. I placed fir sprigs and tiny red bows on the fence for the finishing touch. I wouldn’t mind living in this sweet cozy cottage.
