Birch Trees and Cardinal Tag

Good Tuesday morning.  I have another tag to share with you today. As a matter of fact I have several tags to share with you this week.  I love the Impression Obsession Birch Trees and the cardinals that come in the set.  I think these trees make a perfect masculine tag.  I can see it tied on either a bright red package or maybe even one wrapped in kraft paper.  I love old-fashioned Christmas cards and gift tags.

I inked up the fir tree with green ink and misted lightly and stamped the tree background on the tag. I cut the trees and lightly applied the gray ink on the notches with a mini applicator.  I applied tiny pieces of mounting tape to the back of the trees, attached them to the tag and cut the excess tree length off the bottom.

I attached the cardinals in the trees with glossy accents.  I attached the crimped snowy ground piece with mounting tape,

  2. As a result of previous posts using the tree stamps, I purchased both sizes of them and love them….since we have evergreens here in FL, I think there will be many uses for them throughout the year…..love your tag and can envision lots of color combos for holiday and/or fall tags or cards…TFS

  8. Beautiful tag Kittie! The birch tree die with the cardinals is on the top of my wish list. Cardinals are my favourite for Christmas themes along with pine and pinecones. This tag is perfect for decorating gifts, gift bags so many possibilities. This tag would never end up in the trash, but as a future decoration.
Thank you so very much for sharing the beautiful scenery tags this week, they are very inspiring.
