Fir Trees and Deer Tag

Good Wednesday morning.  I have another “guy” Christmas tag to share with you today.  I just love the Impression Obsession Small Deer set and they pair perfectly in a scene with the Fir Trees.  I couldn’t resist adding a few birds from the Memory Box Flying Birds set.

I started by cutting and crimping the trees and attached them to the tag base.  I painted several spots on the tree with a bit of white watercolor paint to add a bit of snow.  I cut the deer using white cardstock and applied brown ink using a mini applicator.  I cut the birds and lightly applied gray ink using a mini applicator.

I cut and crimped the snowy ground piece and attached it to the tag with mounting tape.  I attached both deer with mounting tape for another layer of dimension and attached the rolled glue dots

Here’s a side view to show the dimension.  It’s a tiny little scene but I think it is so fun for a nature guy.
