Good Saturday morning. I have a clean and simple Christmas project to share with you today using the Memory Box Cheerful Stockings and Elizabeth Craft Designs Merry Christmas sentiment. I used Spellbinders Classic Squares to create the background layer.
I cut the stockings, assembled them with glue dots and popped them up on the square frames. I applied tiny pieces of foliage and punched circles to the stockings.
I scored the background layer with my Scor-Pal and popped it up on the card base with mounting tape. I popped up the stocking squares with mounting tape for an added layer of dimension. I attached the sentiment for the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I really like this, Kittie. Nice card!
Very clean and cheerful.
This is stunning. I love all your mini dies.
What a wonderful card Kittie! Love the stockings!
Oh my! It looks like you lost the dot of the “i”. I used this sentiment just last week and cut it several days before I got around to making the card with it. I have started to place a strip of painter’s tape behind the negative and store all the pieces (especially small bits like the dot)stuck to the tape. Besides holding on to all the bits where I can find them, I like having the negative to help me glue sentiments like this in place without distortion.
