Good Sunday morning. My project today was made using my new Marianne Designs Oval Frame paired with the Loving Thoughts embossing folder, Spiral Flowers, Leaves and Stems and branches from the Large Bird on Branch die.
I thought the oval frame would look beautiful layered over the embossed frame background and filled with tiny roses and delicate foliage. I attached the frame to the card base with mounting tape.
The foliage and colorful roses were arranged and attached with glossy accents. I filled in around the roses with the tiny stems. I think this would make a perfect Easter card.
I am happy you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.
Card size: 5.5” x 4.25”
So sweet, just loving the miniature roses Kittie, a beautiful floral spray on the Marianne die.
This is a definate “WOW” card, simply gorgeous. The embossing folder along with the frame looks beautiful and I adore those little roses. Perfect card for any occasion.
Absolutely gorgeous. I didn’t notice the frame on top of the embossing at first. So elegant. Do you mail your cards? If so, how do you keep them from getting crushed?
Hi Linda, Here is a link to a tutorial on one of the ways I package and mail my cards. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/packaging-and-mailing-card-tutorial.html
I also use a Crystal Clear Box placed in padded envelopes to mail. If I am hand delivering I just put it in a Crystal Clear Box and tie a ribbon to make it look like a gift. Here is a link to the boxes I use. They are inexpensive and make the card a gift. http://www.ellenhutson.com/servlet/the-2195/Crystal-Clear-Boxes%2C-A2%2C/Detail?affiliate_no=29
