Happy Birthday America

Happy Fourth of July!  I hope you are enjoying your holiday.  I sure am.  I had fun this morning making a clean and simple card to celebrate America’s birthday. I love the crisp red, white and blue,

I started by making my little flag.  I cut thin strips of red and white cardstock and adhered them to a piece of scrap cardstock that had been covered with ATG adhesive.  I cut a navy rectangle and attached the tiny white stars from the Impression Obsession Sun and Moon set with glossy accents and attached it to the flag. I cut the lamp post from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Lots of Pops set.

I attached the flag and post to the card base with mounting tape and then popped up the Poppystamps Picket Fence and Impression Obsession Grass Border, Leafy Branch and Tiny Flowers with another layer of mounting tape.  I added a few red Memory Box butterflies from the Butterfly Delights set to bring another touch of color to the all white background.
