Graduation Owl

Good Sunday morning.  I another graduation card to share with you today using the new Impression Obsession Owl set, Mortarboard and Scroll set, Congrats, All-in-One Frames Circles set and Leafy Branch.  I think this owl is so cute dressed up with his mortarboard and diploma and those rimmed glasses make him look so intelligent.  The owl set comes with a very cute mortarboard that fits him perfectly but I the larger one with the separate tassel.  The owl can be made without the graduation pieces and used for any occasion.

I cut all the pieces of the owl and assembled using glossy accents and glue dots.  I cut the frame and attached it to a white circle with a strip of rolled up double stick tape.  The owl would have looked perfectly fine sitting in the scalloped frame by himself but I couldn’t resist adding a few branches.  I attached the branches with glossy accents and attached the owl into the frame using double pieces of mounting tape.

I applied rolled up double stick tape to the back of the congrats  and attached it to the card base.  The framed owl was attached flat to the card base with double stick tape.  Take a look at the five new All-in-One Frames sets.  I love that one die can cut so many different shaped frames.
