I know you are going to love all the team projects you are going to see this week.

Today’s hop list!

Kittie Caracciolo  (that’s me)

Laura Fulcher

Vicki Garrett

My project today was made using the new Joy to the World stamp that fits perfectly on an A2 card front.  I wanted the hymn to be the main focus on my card today and added a few pieces of the Pine Pair and Holly Flourish with a red multi loop bow to embellish with an old-fashioned holiday decorative element. ! can also see the music being used as a background for holiday floral and scene projects.

Joy to the world

I stamped the music image on white cardstock with versa, embossed with gold embossing powder, attached a piece of red ribbon across the right corner(which you can barely see) and attached to the card base with mounting tape.  Sadly the gold emboss doesn’t show well in the photo.

I attached a few pieces of pine to the card base using glossy accents.  I applied red 1/8” punched circles to the holly pieces with glossy accents and applied red Wink of Stella to add sparkle.  I tucked the pieces of holly in around the pine with glossy accents and finished the spray with the bow.

I love all kinds of Christmas decorations but old-fashioned pine and holly and red ribbon is my favorite above all.

  2. The gold embossed hymn is so elegant. I like how you used the ribbon and greenery to complement it and not overwhelm the image.
