Floral Spray and Framed Embossing

Good Sunday morning.  My project today is fairly clean and simple using only white and pink but adding dimension and interest with the framed embossed layer and the flower and foliage.  I think this card could be perfect for a birthday, shower, wedding or even a greeting for a friend.  I used the impression Obsession Spiral Daisy and Leafy Branch for the floral  spray and paired them with the Lifestyle Crafts Flower Embossing Folder Set and the My Favorite Things Pierced Square Frames.  Have you seen the four different shaped sets of the My Favorite Things Pierced Frames?  There are three frames in each of the round, oval, rectangle and square sets.  I think the pierced edges add so much interest.

I embossed the white piece of cardstock and attached it to the back of the frame with thin strips of mounting tape.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the framed embossed layer and attached it to the pink card base.  I like how the double mounting tape adds dimension and interest.

I cut the spiral daisy and rolled the petals from the backside of the flower using my stylus and molding pad.  I rolled the flower around my tweezers and let it loosen a little before removing so the flower would look more natural and then fixed it closed with glossy accents.  I cut three sections of the leafy branch.  Two whole branches were attached in the corner of the frame using glossy accents. One going across the top of the frame and one down the side.  I attached the flower in the corner with glossy accents and held in place until dry and secure.  I cut pieces of the third branch and tucked them in under the flower to fill in the gaps and attached with glossy accents. I added a simple pearl to the flower center to finish.
