Good Saturday morning. I have a new baby card to share with you today. I did a similar card with this set a while back but couldn’t resist using it again for one of this past week’s Splitcoaststampers Dare To Get Dirty challenges. I think the clothes (I only used three) images in the Clothesline and Laundry set are so cute and they can work perfectly for a baby girl or boy. My photographs do not correctly reflect how pale the designer paper is that I used. In person it is a very sweet and soft pink and not quite as bold as it shows in the pictures.
I started by creating a sponged background, stamped some texture in the grassy area using the small stamp from the Coming Up Roses set and then framed it using the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames and All-in-one Frames Rectangles 2. I attached a thin piece of string across the top of the frame to create the clothesline. I stamped the clothes with white pigment ink , embossed with white embossing powder and cut them. I attached them in the scene with mounting tape.
I added the foliage and Tiny Flowers to the corner for a soft decorative element to cover the ends of the clothesline. I thought the little grassy scene looked a little empty below the hanging clothes so I added a cat to fill some space and bring another element of interest. There’s almost always room for a cat!! LOL!
The foliage punch that I used was made by EK Success but I couldn't find one to link for you. I checked on both EK Success and Amazon but no luck. It must be retired. Sorry!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”

I’m sorry I failed to mention both the white ink and embossing powder. The ink Whisper White by Stampin’ Up! and the embossing powder is Super Fine White by Ranger. Thanks for asking Susan.
What a cute baby card. Love the little clothes hanging on the line. The cat was a really
nice addition too along with the flowers and leaves.
There is nothing cuter than a baby’s card. You did a wonderful job…I LOVE the addition of the cat. I am also partial to the girls clothes because they are adorable. TFS.
