Good Friday morning and welcome to day 5 and final day of my Valentine Week. Before I start I need to address a problem. Earlier this week I received an email from a new paper crafter asking my advice about basic crafting supplies and tools. I accidentally deleted the email before I had the chance to answer and I felt terrible. I want to invite the person to write again and I will be happy to help.
My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Heart Set, Border Duo 1, Spiral Flowers and Leaf Cluster. The clean and simple decorative white eyelet layer against the red creates the perfect setting for the small double matted heart frame and the single rose and leaf cluster. This may be my favorite of all the cards I posted this week.
I die cut both border of the white layer and then cut the large heart frame opening. I cut the smaller red frame using a small scrap piece of cardstock and attached it to the back of the white layer with ATG adhesive. I finished the double matted frame layer by attaching a piece of white cardstock to the back of the frame opening thin strips of mounting tape. The red base layer was attached to the card base with ATG adhesive and then the frame layer was attached with mounting tape.
The spiral flower was rolled around my tweezers, removed and secured in place with glossy accents. A few leaf cluster sections were attached to the back of the rose and then it was attached inside the frame opening with glossy accents. I tucked a couple extra leaf sections under the rose to fill in and attached with glossy accents. This was really a fast and easy card to make.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day. Today at 5:00 is the final opportunity to leave a comment for my Memory Box die blog candy. Good luck! I’ll announce the winner tomorrow.

I love this card and the design, but all your cards are so pretty, it’s difficult to select a fav….the heart in the center is a perfect focal point. Really beautiful.
Love this card! The double cut heart with the delicate rose and petals is beautiful and the border cut on the white panel is perfect for this card. I pinned as usual. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/415386765611397615/
