Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Hello Sunshine” design team challenge to use warm colors. My project was made using the Sunshine die and Sunshine Sentiments, Bouquet, Foliage and Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames. The yellow frame border was made using the Nesting Card Templates.
I started by attaching the two largest sections of the 6-in-1 frames together with double stick tape and attaching the yellow border frame over the seam using double stick tape. I stamped the sentiment on the card base and then attached the frame using strips of mounting tape. I cut the flowers from the Bouquet set, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and assembled them with glossy accents. I used a 1/8” circle punch to create the yellow flower centers. I cut two sections of foliage, cut them apart and attached them to the corners of the frame with glossy accents. The flowers were attached to the foliage with glossy accents.
I placed a section of double stick tape on my work surface and rolled it up with my finger to create an adhesive strip to use to attach the Sunshine sentiment. I attached the strip to the back of the die cut and then attached it to the card base.
I finished the project by attaching one small flower to the sentiment with glossy accents and adding a touch of yellow stickles to the center of each flower.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!).
