Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Trick or Treat” design team challenge. My project today was made using the fairy silhouette from the Trick or Treaters set paired with the Tree Frame, Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames, Sun and Moon and the Trick or Treat sentiment. The large moon was cut using the Nesting Circles.
I started by trimming the Tree Frame to fit with the rectangle frame and attached them together using double stick tape. I applied mounting tape to the back of the frames and tree trunk and attached it to the card base. The little fairy was placed on the card base with mounting tape and the sentiment was applied with rolled up 1/8” double stick tape.
I wanted all the images to be in black but wanted to add a little bit of sparkle for interest. I cut a circle about 1 1/4” and several stars in black and applied black Wink of Stella, allowed them to dry and attached them to the card base in behind the tree branches with glossy accents. Although the fairy has a tiny star on the end of her wand I attached one of the larger stars over it to make it more visible. I think the fairy trick or treater is so cute and makes a fun and non spooky Halloween card.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
