Good Sunday morning. My project today is a clean, simple, fast and easy framed sunflower silhouette card made using the Impression Obsession Sunflower Background and Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames. I didn’t add a sentiment so it could be used later for whatever occasion I needed it for. The yellow polka dot paper is from the Lawn Fawn Polka In the Meadow pad.
I made a similar card (see below) to this a while back using the same yellow polka dot paper but used yellow cardstock and placed brown cardstock behind the center. I thought the white sunflower in silhouette against the yellow with white polka dots was pretty and soft even though the yellow paper is so bright. I trimmed down the frame off the sunflower background to make it fit behind the frame. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame and attached the sunflower.
I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and several small pieces to the back center of the flower and attached it to the card base. It doesn’t get much faster than this. When I’m ready to add a sentiment I will attach a piece across the lower portion of the sunflower like I did in the card below.

Who doesn’t love sunflowers?! Simple is great in this case. I’m glad you did this one with the white flower. Together with the frame it stands out so well against your dotted paper. TFS.
