Good Sunday afternoon. I have a flower project to share with you today using the Impression Obsession Full Bloom Hollyhocks and Hollyhocks die.
I secured the stamp and watercolor paper in my MISTI, applied Worn Lipstick ink to the stamp using the ink pad, misted and stamped the image. I repeated this step a couple of times to get a good full image. Next I used my water brush to apply fired brick ink to the flowers to create more depth of color. I used my peeled paint marker to draw in the green stems for the flowers. I cut two sets of die cut hollyhocks and colored them using the same inks and marker.
I applied mounting tape to both frame layers and attached the hollyhocks background and then attached the whole thing to the card base with ATG adhesive. I formed the hollyhocks gently with my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the base using glossy accents. I tucked pieces of foliage around the flowers and attached with glossy accents. I had lots of fun using both the stamp and die together on the same card.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
