Good Tuesday morning. Ellen Hutson released Julie’s All Inside Stamp Set and coordinating All Inside Die Set early in 2016 and they have become very popular. In the summer of 2016 Bear Ware Stamp Set and Bear Ware Die Set were released with a wonderful collection of images to coordinate with the All Inside bear. Due to the popularity of the Bear Ware accessory images Julie created a new coordinating accessory set of Halloween and Christmas images- Bear Ware 2 Stamp Set and Bear Ware 2 Die Set. I have to admit that these are my favorite images. Since I hate spooky and gory Halloween stuff I especially love the fun and innocent images in the set. I will have to play with the Christmas images very soon. I wonder what Julie will come up with next for this precious bear? The frames were made using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and Hero Arts Infinity Nesting Rectangles. The leaves were made using the Impression Obsession Oak Leaves and Rake set.
I started by securing the cardstock and stamps in my MISTI, applied ink and stamped them all at once. Using my MISTI also allowed me to stamp the images a second time to get good crisp images. I heat set the images before coloring.
I don’t often color with my Copic markers since I am so challenge with them but I figured I couldn’t go too wrong for these fun cartoony images. Once they were all cut out with the coordinating dies I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens- Amethyst, Harvest Moon and Emerald Green to add sparkle to the mask, leaves, hat trim and pumpkin. Sadly all that sparkle doesn’t show well in the photos. I love the different theme colored Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen sets.
The front frame was attached to the green layer using thin strips of mounting tape. They were both attached to the back scalloped layer with double stick tape and then they were attached to the card base using double stick tape.
I assembled all the pieces to create my scene. The mask, hat and Jack-o-Lantern were attached to the bear using glue dots. The Boo bag was attached using a small piece of mounting tape. The bear was attached to the card base using mounting tape. The leaves were attached to the tree using glossy accents and then the tree was attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape. The broom and cat were attached with mounting tape. I finished by applying a few leaves falling from the tree and to the frame.
I certainly wouldn’t be scared if this guy came to my door Trick-or-treating because he looks so cute with his witch costume and little kitty friend.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you are having a great day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
So very cute, fun little scene!
Adorable…I don’t think you are challenged in any way….beautiful coloring!!!
How did we ever manage without our MISTI’s? I love mine and actually now use more of my stamps that used to be sort of difficult to get a good image.
Thanks for the cute card today.
This is a great Halloween card !
So cute….I got this Halloween set to go with the bear….got him last year…didn’t get the dies…but should….as always my friend…you knocked this out of the park…still loving retirement????
Hugs
I bought this set plus the additional set because I thought your card was a cutie. I plan to use the sets to make cards for my granddaughter while she is away at college. How did you cut the bear out after stamping? I have had trouble lining it up. Love your work always.
