Gold Embossed Flower Cart with Decorative Frame

l had so much fun making this gold embossed garden cart with the decorative frame.  I used the Spellbinders Lavender Trike and Tallulah Frill Layering Frame.  Although the color referred to in the title of the trike die is lavender I couldn’t resist using pretty pink for my flowers against the all the white background.

I cut the whole trike image out one time using white cardstock and then cut the flower pot sections of the die multiple times so I could create more pots of flowers for my scene.  I cut the flower pot portion off the trike image, applied versa over the image and embossed with super fine gold embossing powder.  I applied a second coat of versa and embossing powder to create full smooth embossed coverage. 

I colored the flower stems wit an Olive Grove Memento Marker and the flowers using an Angel Pink Memento Marker.  I applied Rusty Hinge ink to the flower pots using a mini applicator.  The flowers appeared a little too pale for my liking so I used a mini applicator to lightly apply touches of Worn Lipstick ink to add more depth of color.  I attached two flower pots to each basket on the trike so it would look full and overflowing with the flowers.  The pots were attached to the gold embossed baskets using small glue dots.

The decorative frame was attached to the card base using rolled up double stick tape. I used mounting tape and rolled up glue dots to attach the trike and flower baskets to the card base.  I added the small decorative element from the frame set in front of the trike wheels and tucked a few more pots of flowers in behind it with rolled up glue dots to finish.
