Labor Day weekend is the official end of summer so I thought I would look back and share some of my favorite beach cards. I chose three with unusual layouts to show many ways these fun Rubbernecker die cuts could be used to create beach scenes. You can click on the photo of each card to go back to the original post to see all the details.
I had so much fun making this beach pop up card with all of these iconic beach images. I used the new Rubbernecker Lifeguard Tower, Beach Umbrellas, Woody Die and Palm Trees paired with the Beach Chairs, Waves, Deckle Hills, Sun Moon, Knob Top Fence (turned upside down), Grass #2 and Small Birds. I used The Paper Cut Square Pop Up Box Card kit for the base of my card.
This Z Fold Box card was so much fun to make. I love creating cards with dimension and the z fold card layout provides so many opportunities. I used the new Rubbernecker Woody, Lifeguard Tower and Palm Trees paired the Waves, Deckle Hills, Sun Moon, Grass #2 and Small Birds. The base was made using The Paper Cut Easel Card Kit.
I love how the shadow box frame allowed me the depth to create a diorama with the layers of sand, waves and the blue cloudy sky in the background that draws the eye in. For this project I used the A2 Shadow Box Frame, Beach Bag, Sand Toys, Waves, Deckle Hills, Palm Trees, Sun Moon, Grass, Birds, Flower Buds, Tiny Flower Buds and Cloud Stencil.
Be sure and check out the Rubbernecker Labor Day weekend sale. I hope you enjoyed looking back at some of my favorite beach cards. Thanks for coming by and I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend.
