Today I am sharing some poinsettia cards to make using fabulous dies from Rubbernecker. These are more involved projects but these stunning all-white poinsettias are not difficult to make once you know a few of my secrets and use these amazing dies that do so much for the work for you. Have you seen the Poinsettia Class on Rubbernecker’s YouTube page? I did a portion of the class showing how I form my poinsettia and Dave showed five of my poinsettia cards and how to assemble them.
The Red and White Card Base
- Cut a white A2 sized card base and decorative border layer using white cardstock.
- Use red cardstock to cut a 5.50″ x 3.25″ layer.
- Pat the red layer with embossing magic bag to eliminate static cling.
- Insert the red layer and Splatter Background stamp in the MISTI, apply white pigment ink to the stamp and stamp the design.
- Apply white embossing powder to the red layer and heat emboss.
- Apply ATG adhesive to the to the back of the red layer and attach to the card base.
- Attach the decorative layer to the bottom section of the card base using ATG adhesive.
The Poinsettias
- Use the three smaller poinsettia sections to cut the poinsettias using white cardstock and the tiny flowers using red cardstock.
- For each flower cut two of the second largest poinsettia sections and one each of the two smaller dies.
- Lay the flower sections face down on the molding pad and push down and roll each petal using the large round stylus.
- Lay the flower sections face up on the molding pad and push down in the center using a smaller tipped stylus to push all the petals up.
- Attach the sections together using glossy accents offsetting each layer to form a natural looking flower.
- Form the tiny flowers using a small tipped stylus and molding pad.
- Attach the tiny flowers in the poinsettia centers using glossy accents.
- Use glossy accents to attach the three poinsettias to the white decorative layer.
The Holly and Pine Twigs
- Cut the holly and pine twigs using white cardstock and the holly berries using red cardstock.
- Attach the red berries to the holly branches using glossy accents.
- Form the holly leaves using the molding pad and leaf tool.
- Tuck the holly branches under and around the three poinsettias and attach using glossy accents.
- Finish by tucking the pine twigs under and around the poinsettias and holly and attach using glossy accents.
I created this same card layout a couple of years ago in all white and thought I would share it so you can see how just changing the color combination can create such a different card. Click here to the full White Poinsettia and Holly post.
These are the five cards that I made for the Poinsettia Class on YouTube.
What do you think? Have these poinsettia cards to make in all different versions piqued your interest? I promise you that once you make one, you will want to make more because they come out so beautifully!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, Kittie!!! ;)<3
Your cards are always beautiful. These are gorgeous. I have the dies and will have to try making one if only for myself. The card with the white poinsettias and red splatter background is my favorite.
Hey Kittie
I just love the white poinsettias I think they are so elegant and they look amazing as a card.
