Rubbernecker Birthday Celebration

Rubbernecker Birthday

Have you had a chance to check out the Rubbernecker Birthday Celebration sale?  Rubbernecker has been in business for twenty-eight years and to celebrate they have placed everything in the Birthday Category on sale.  I like to have birthday cards on hand and ready for family and friends so I don’t let birthdays slip by me.  I haven’t been well for the last couple of weeks and haven’t been able to make new projects so I thought I would pull up a few of my past birthday posts to share with you again.  Click on each individual picture to be taken back to the original posts to see all product links and step by step details for how I made each card.

Die Cut Birthday Cake

I had lots of fun making this fancy birthday cake card.  It is perfect for girls of all ages.  II used the Rubbernecker Birthday Cake set paired with the Nested Rectangle Scallop w/ Holes, Flower Stems, Tiny Flower Buds and Best Friends sentiment set.

Simple Birthday Card

For this card I used the Birthday Background and the sentiment from the It’s Spring Time set.  The picture doesn’t show off the pretty gold embossing used for the images but I love the vibrant colors of the balloons water colored with Color Fuse inks. Oh……and don’t die of shock that there are no die cuts on this card.  LOL!

Birthday Card with Alphabet and Number Dies

I don’t often use alpha dies on my card fronts but I thought they would be perfect for a “special girl’s” 21st birthday card that I needed to make. To make this card I used the Rubbernecker Upper Case Alphabet w/ stitch Die CutLower Case Alphabet w/ stitch Die Cut and  Number Outlines w/ stitch Die Cut.  I created the sentiment on the Nested Rectangle Scallop w/ Holes and embellished the card with flowers made using the Mixable Flower Stack and foliage using the Small Leaf Group.   I couldn’t resist adding Tiny Flower Buds and Tiny Leaf Buds to the letters and numbers for another feminine element.

Come see how I made this birthday card with alphabet and number dies for the Rubbernecker Birthday Celebration.

Sweet and Simple Birthday Cards

I love to make cards with lots of details, but sometimes I like to produce a few simple cards to have on hand. This one fits the bill and the cheerful colors – which of COURSE are changeable! – and the simple birthday wish means you can send it to anyone and make their day!  I made this card using the Balloons die set and the sentiment is from the Kittie Says Phrases #1.
