Check out some BRAND NEW Christmas dies from Rubbernecker!
Many of you know I just love making Christmas cards and I just got my hands on the NEW Christmas dies I’ve created with Rubbernecker and I am IN HEAVEN! We worked together to bring you some new dies that can be used in lots and lots of ways including some new Christmas dies. So much so that in the middle of a Florida summer heat wave, I had to stop everything and play with them. Today I am going to share some of my favorite projects and I will show all the details for each card in later posts.
First up is this card featuring Santa all loaded up, ready to go around the world. I LOVE this new size of Santa and how we were able to create a collection that has a touch of whimsy, a whiff of vintage style and a scale that works so beautifully on a standard sized card. And LOOK at the details! I don’t know any other company who devotes so much attention to little details that take a project from nice to WOW with such simple additions. The ribbon details on the little gifts, the pieces and parts that make up the sleigh and the parts of the deer…..you just get so much more detail and impact from Rubbernecker’s dies, making you look like a creative genius. Not that you aren’t……. This card uses three of the new sets and I was just so thrilled with how they went together so beautifully.
Then we have this beautiful vintage truck set. How many of you are familiar with the term “IYKYK”? It stands for “If You Know, You Know” and if you are lovers of vintage vehicles, you will know! If you search for red vintage truck Christmas cards you will see almost SIXTY MILLION results – they are that beloved! I personally love this motif and I spent some time with the designers making sure that this ended up being a beautifully detailed set with gorgeous lines and a scale that, again, is absolutely perfect for standard sized cards. That said, the shaping and details offered by the dies makes these elements visually strong enough to be featured on larger projects. We made sure we created a set of dies for the front AND for the back of the truck giving you endless possibilities!
I just about fell off my chair when I saw these new doggy die sets that we worked on actually turned into the dies! and while they aren’t “Christmas dies” I had to use them right away and ended up with this super cute doggo Christmas card! I have two adorable, nutty dogs and I make and send a LOT of dog cards. These adorable puppers and their little hidey house are a blast to make – you can reproduce any of your friend’s dogs in paper for them – and I can tell that I will be coming back to this set over and over. There are three different pooches in three different poses so you will never run out of fun ways to add these little lovable canines to your projects! And our little dog house is a perfect addition – it’s got the sweetest little details!
I was also over the moon when I saw this fabulous Christmas tree die in real life! Don’t let its name – “Slimline Christmas Tree Die” – fool you. Yes, it’s scaled to be able stretch over the space of a slimline card but just remove a few of the tiers, and, as you can see, it fits perfectly on a standard sized card. Is that genius or what? I LOVE dies that work for all sizes of projects! And the clever creation of this die means that you can shape and layer any of the pieces together to create trees and shrubs of any size. Hint: Go back and look at the shrub next to the dog house in the previous card. Right?!?
And check out the exquisite little ornaments! You will never again have to suffer a naked tree or wreath or garland on any of your holiday projects again! I am planning to cut LOTS of scraps of all colors and finishes of paper and card stock and have a glorious stash of pretty little baubles for my cards!
Last today (but by no means last at all) of my favorites is this absolutely perfect holly set which looks as if it were designed to go with the new lattice cover die. I love cover dies because you can do so much with them and there are FOUR new ones in the latest batch of new dies from Rubbernecker. And every one of them is flat out stunning. I am absolutely adding all four to my line up because they are so easy to use, give you instant visual impact and if you pop them up, easy dimension.
Now about that holly! This newer size and scale lets this beautiful winter foliage stand on its own OR serve as an accent on any card of any size. I love how we are really focusing on how we are scaling our new dies – other companies have sets that have to be used on their own but we are trying to make sure that many of our dies can complement each other. This holly die cuts AND adds the debossed details to the leaves and gives you a selection of berry sizes so you can add instant perspective and depth.
Prepare yourselves, friends! These brand new Christmas dies as well as a whole bunch of other new seasonal dies and are being released today. Speaking from personal experience, I know that new dies sell out on the Rubbernecker site (they do reorder quickly, though!) so if there’s something you see that you love, grab it! Remember, you get free shipping once your merchandise total reaches just $50 and you get points for every purchase. Head on over to the STORE SITE and see the whole release.

Wow, Kittie, beautiful cards!
Awesome Cards Kittie!! You have such a creative mind! I’m so glad I found you, you have helped me be more creative!
Rannah, Thank you so much for your compliment. You made my day!
Amazing details to bring so much dimension to the die cuts. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
Love them all! How did you create the background for the card with the dog and doghouse?
Thanks for asking Olga. I used the Rubbernecker Splatter Background stamp, inked with white pigment ink and embossed with white powder. Here’s a link.
This is one OUTSTANDING JOB on ALL of these cards Kittie…,love them all.
You are really creating amazing . And are having a blast doing it…Keep them coming…🤗
I bet making these winter cards cooled you down a bit, they are all fantastic but I think the truck is my favorite! Love that wreath on the front and the tree hanging out of the back!
I loved the dog dies so much that I ordered them right away. They arrived and I tried using them last night, but I’m having difficulties trying to figure out what some of the little pieces are in each set. If you could do a tutorial showing how to put together each of the three dogs, that would be super. I was trying to mimic the Christmas dog shown above and the two autumn dogs. Especially struggling with the little doggie that has its paws crossed. Thank you! Your work is always enjoyed and appreciated!
Lisa, I will be happy to do a tutorial showing how to put all three dogs together. Thanks for the suggestion.
