Come see two of my cards made using brand new goodies from the Rubbernecker Christmas in July 2023 Release available TODAY! 15% off all new items!
Today is the Rubbernecker Christmas in July 2023 release of all new products and I am SO excited to finally share! I’ve been working on these cards – and MORE which you know I will be posting – and I am just loving all the adorable and fun new stamps, dies and papers. There is something for everyone in this release and it’s such a great feeling to be able to plan so far ahead.
Are you ready to take a peek? First up is this adorable, colorful and SO fast and easy handmade Christmas card. Yes there is a ton of detail and yes, those little characters are beautifully colored. So why is it fast and easy? Because Rubbernecker has come out with another Paper Pad and die combo! All of those adorable little animals are all cut from the Winter Animals 6×6 Paper Pad with the Winter Animals Dies. I just set them on some snow made using Rubbernecker’s Deckle Hills die set and popped them all in a frame using a die from the Inside Scallop Frames.
Folks, it doesn’t get any easier than this. Add a little texture and some dimension and your cards will be so captivating no one will know you just cut and adhered. And with one pad and the coordinating die, you can make a stack of cards, all ready to send when you need them!
Now for something more complex, I used the new Three Trees die set with the Deckle Hills dies again for the snow, the Splatter Background for the background and some additional sprigs using Rubbernecker’s Greenery #1 and added in a bright pop of red with a bird made using the Cardinals die. A greeting from their Winter Wonderland set and I had a festive card ready to go.
I used one of my embossing paste tricks which I will share in the post to add all that snow to the trees. And I found that the design of this new Three Trees die is ideal for this kind of look – they are “sturdy” enough that they really look like they can hold that beautiful, glistening white snow.
I have so many more projects to share with you using all the new goodies which I have listed below if you just can’t wait (and maybe you shouldn’t – history shows that Christmas things sell out fast):
