Layered Fall Trees

See how easy it is to make a layered fall trees scene using the Brass and Bliss Stacked Forest die set.

The great thing about the Brass and Bliss Stacked Forest die set is how easy it is to create a dimensional scene that you can use for any season.   I love how pretty the bright colors show on the layers.  I paired the forest set using pumpkins from the Fall Door Parts, Small Flowers #3, Flowers Stems and the squirrels from the New Farm Animals set.

Create layered fall trees scene cards using Brass and Bliss Stacked Forest set.

Card Base and Stacked Forest Layers

  • Use white cardstock to cut an A2 sized card base and the three Stacked Forest layers.
  • Use Color Fuse Inks # 2, 3, 4 and 10 and mini applicators to apply colors.
  • Apply VersaMark to the layers and emboss using clear embossing powder. Pro Tip:  Applying clear embossing makes all the colors pop brighter when heated.
  • Apply strips of mounting tape along the back top and bottom of each layer.
  • Begin by attaching the back layer directly to the blue A2 card base.
  • Line up and attach the middle and front layers over the back layer to create the layered scene.

Pumpkins, Squirrels and Flower Stems

  • Cut the pumpkins, Squirrels, Flowers and Flower Stems using white cardstock.
  • Apply pieces of mounting tape to the back of the pumpkins and squirrels and attach them to the scene base.
  • Tuck the flowers in behind the layers and attach them using glossy accents.

Here is a side view so you can see all the dimension of the layered fall trees and their embellishments.
