Holly Christmas Cards

Create beautiful Holly Christmas cards with the Brass and Bliss Snowflake Wreath, Holly and Evergreen branches.

I love making white on white Christmas cards with pops of green and red.  My card today shows off how my holly and evergreen branch arrangement pops against the background.  The Snowflake Wreath from the Brass and Bliss November Release and embossed background create perfect Holly Christmas cards.  For inspiration check out my White on White Category.

To make this card I used the Snowflake Wreath, Holly #1 and Greenery #1.

Use Brass and Bliss dies to make holly Christmas cards.

Cut a white 5.50″ x 4.25″ layer and emboss with a snowflake background.  Attach it to a white A2 sized card base.

Pro Tip:  I placed the white layer in the folder and ran through my machine. Since the embossed pattern didn’t cover the layer I turned it over, inserted it into the folder and ran through about a third of the way to meet where the first pattern met. This process allowed me to have the pattern embossed on both ends without overlapping the center pattern.

Make holly Christmas cards pop by arranging the foliage on an all white background.

Cut the Snowflake Wreath and apply tiny pop dots to many key areas on the back and attach it to the card base. Pro Tip: I cut some of the .12 pop dots in half to place on thinner areas of the wreath.

Cut several branches of holly and greenery. Create a holly branch base by attaching them to the wreath.  Then attach a second layer of shortened holly branches to fill in the arrangement.  Tuck a few of the greenery branches in among the holly to soften the arrangement.  Finish with a red multi loop bow

Here are the products used to make my holly Christmas card.  If you haven’t already checked out the Brass and Bliss November Release you will definitely want to hop over and see all the new products.
