See how to create a nature scene card using layered diorama dies like the newly released Brass and Bliss Wavy Nested set.
I love creating snowy nature scene cards for the holidays. Using layered diorama dies like the new Brass and Bliss Wavy Nested set made it fast and easy and all I had to do was add embossed snow, several trees and a mother and baby deer. The cardinals added a pop of red to brighten the scene.
To make this card I used the Brass and Bliss Wavy Nested, Evergreen Trees, Deer Family, Splatter Background and Small Cardinals.
Pick three different sized dies from the set to create the layers you want to use for the scene. Emboss the horizontal layers by running through the machine once. Part of the layer will be extended out of the folder.
Turn the folder on its side, line up the layer just to the edge of the embossed pattern and run it through the machine a second time.
Attach the three layers together using strips of mounting tape.
Stamp the trees using the Splatter Background and white pigment ink and emboss with white embossing powder. Run the trees through a straight crimper to add dimension. Tuck the trees behind the snow layers and attach with pieces of mounting tape.
Color the deer using light and dark brown inks and mini applicators and attach them in the scene using pieces of mounting tape.
Attach a few cardinals to the scene to add a pop of color to break up the white and green.
These are the products I used to make this layered diorama card. Have you had a chance to check out the Brass and Bliss November Release and Black Friday sale?

The layered diorama dies with the wavy edges creates the perfect opportunity to make outdoor natures scenes. But you can also use other nested sets for layering. You can check out my Winter Card category for more scene inspiration.
