Simple Dimensional Card Fronts

Make fast and simple dimensional card fronts using cover dies.

This Rose Cover by Brass and Bliss has a gorgeous open pattern and looks so pretty done in white with a colorful background.  The sentiment was made using the Thank You Die set and Thank You Stamp set.

Use cover dies to make simple dimensional card fronts

  • Apply an A2 sized colored layer to the card base using double stick tape.  Pro Tip:  I don’t use my colored cardstock to create the whole card base.  I like to save it and create a layer to apply to my white card base.
  • Use white cardstock to cut the cover, apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame borders and attach to the base.  Pro Tip:  I cut tiny pop dots in half and applied them to a few key spots to keep the design layer from collapsing.
  • Stamp the sentiment and cut it using the coordinating die.
  • Apply a strip to mounting tape to the back of the sentiment and attach to the design.
