Come see how to make this adorable pumpkin bucket made using the newly released Brass and Bliss Trick or Treat Bucket die set.
I don’t care much for spooky Halloween but do like making fun and cute cards. To make this card I used the Trick or Treat Bucket paired with the Halloween Greetings, Basket Weave Cover and Small Classic Alphabet. I have to admit that making all the candy pieces took a little time but I love the outcome, especially my Hershey Bars.
Embossed Card Base
I used the cover plate and a rubber embossing mat to create the textured background. I wanted to create a background that looked different than if I had used the die cut cover.
Pumpkin Bucket and Candy
Cut the bucket using orange cardstock and apply shading using inks from the Color Fuse set #2 and blending brushes. Assemble the pieces and attach them together using Nuvo glue. Cut the Trick or Treat sentiment using black cardstock and attach them to the bucket using Nuvo glue.
Cut the individual candy sections using multi colored cards and use the Nuvo glue to attach the candy sections together. Cut the alphabet dies using brown cardstock and attach them to the front of the candy bars using Nuvo glue.
Attach the candy sections and the handle to the back of the bucket using glossy accents to create the arrangement. Pro Tip: I like using the Nuvo glue to attach parts and pieces together because the glue dries clear. But when I need to attach a large grouping of die cut images together for an arrangement I like glossy accents but it creates a much stronger bond.
Apply double stick tape to the back bottom of the bucket to hold it flat to the surface. Apply a generous amount of glossy accents to the the back of the candy sections and then attach the bucket to the card base.
Finish by attaching several candy sections to the base of the pumpkin bucket using glossy accents and pieces of mounting tape to a few of the pieces to create dimension.
