I love creating snowy themed cards for the holidays. The shutter card base provided the perfect opportunity to use the ornament layers for a touch of elegance to the scene.

The Scene and Ornament Layers

Cut the 8.50 x 5.50 card base using white cardstock and score in at 2.125″ on both sides.
Cut the the 4.00″ x 5.25″ embossed layer and attach to the center of the base.
Use light brown cardstock to cut the fence section and apply brown ink. Attach it to the card base using strips of mounting tape.
Use green cardstock to cut the trees and stamp them using the splatter stamp and white pigment ink. Heat emboss using white embossing powder.
Attach the trees to the scene using pieces of mounting tape.
Stamp the sentiment on the sign layer, attach to the larger layer and attach to the fence top.
Cut two ornament layers and attach them to the side sections using thin strips of mounting tape.

Ornament Layers and Fence Embellishments

Cut greenery and bows and attach to the ornament layers and the fence corners.
Finish by attaching a star to the top of the tallest tree.
