Botanical Frame and Flowers

Good Monday morning.  I have a colorful clean and simple floral project to share with you today.  I really love the Memory Box Botanical Frame set and thought it would be pretty used with an all white card base and frame with a colorful background inside the framed opening.

My favorite thing about this die set is that it has an individual flower die that matches the framed flower perfectly and also a die that will cut an opening the exact shape as the botanical frame.

Memory Box Dies, Botanic Frame Set

I started by cutting the botanical frame in white.  I cut the frame opening on a piece of 5.00” x 3.75” piece of white cardstock.  I applied glossy accents to the back of the flowers and vines and attached it over top of the frame opening.  I applied the designer paper to the card base with ATG adhesive and then attached the frame layer over it with mounting tape for a bit of dimension.

I cut ten individual flowers, formed them with my stylus and molding pad, assembled them with glossy accents and attached them over the frame flower.  I stamped the Impression Obsession Warm Fuzzies Sentiments Love You on the matching tag with black versafine and embossed with gold embossing powder.  I attached to the corner of the frame with mounting tape. I kept this simple with p[polka designer paper but this would be a perfect frame for a photo, sentiment verse or poem or watercolored outdoor scene. I love this set.
