Good Sunday morning. I love making snowmen on my holiday cards and I had lots of fun playing with the new Essentials by Ellen Fat Pants Stamps and coordinating Fat Pants Die Set to create my project for today’s post. I framed my scene using the My Favorite Things Pierced Oval Frames, added snowy evergreen to the scene cutting apart the Penny Black Conifer Tree and added branch arms using the Impression Obsession Wide Tree. The hat was embellished with ribbon and Fir Sprigs and red berries. I couldn’t resist adding a cardinal from the Cardinals set.
I cut the snowman head and hat from dies in the die set and cut the two larger circles from the Nesting Circles set. I stamped the face image and bold circles on the body using Black Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.I dressed up the hat with a red ribbon, fir sprigs and berries and added red stickles for sparkle. I attached the body and head of the snowman together with glue dots and then attached the hat with glue dots. There is a nose image in the stamp set but I hand cut one out with my snips to add a little bit of dimension. The ribbon scarf was attached with glue dots and the branch arms were attached to the back of the snowman using glossy accents.
I cut a ground snow section using my deckle scissors and attached it to the back of the frame with ATG adhesive. I applied small pieces of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base. The snowman was attached to the card base with mounting tape. I cut a couple Conifer trees apart and tucked the branches in behind the ground snow and attached with glossy accents. I applied the Ultimate glue to the branches with an old brush and sprinkled with Flower Soft. I finished by attaching the loan red cardinal on the branch arm with a rolled glue dot. I love the big smile on the snowman’s face and his festive hat. Julie Ebersole creates some of the cutest images ever.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.

GORGEOUS, Kittie!!
I love the Snowmen, but this one is really adorable!!
I also love all the details you used, it’s a wonderful Christmas card.
Greetings and hugs, Eva.
SWEET KITTIE!!! 😉 It makes me want to go out & build a snowman! BUT, thank goodness there is NO SNOW here! LOL I don’t like COLD! I like PAPER snowmen better anyway, they DON’T MELT! 😀
What a cute snowman! Love this sweet card!
