Love

Good Tuesday morning.  I had such a great time making projects over the three day weekend.  The card I posted today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge and “Love” was the theme. I love the newly released sentiments from the Rubbernecker 2012 Collage Collection. I thought it would be lovely embossed and framed with gold.  Here is what I came up with.KC Love 1 left

I stamped the sentiment on vanilla cardstock and embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut the frame using the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangle die, cut the frame using the Long Classic die, applied versa directly to the frame from the pad and then embossed. I die cut the Memory Box Macarena Corner and punched two EK Success Mini Petunia blossoms, applied versa and embossed.

I applied mounting tape to the back of the frame and mounted over the sentiment on the card base, I used Glossy Accents to attach the flourishes and flowers. I think this would be lovely as a wedding or anniversary card.

  1. So beautiful. The macarena corners work so
nice for the corners on this card. I have
the romantic dies ordered. Be glad when I
get them to play with. Glad you had a some
    extra play time this weekend.

  2. Hey Kittie … I really like this clean & simple design, as normally I am drawn to the elaborate dimensional flowers you create. I too am glad you guys had a 3-day weekend; more eye candy !!
