Christmas Wreath

Good Monday morning.  I have a clean and simple Christmas wreath project to share with you today.  But first I want to thank all of you who have commented on my special anniversary blog candy post. If you have checked out the post and blog candy there is still time.

I embossed the white card base with Sizzix Loving Thoughts folder to create a frame that would enhance the wreath but still allow it to be clean and crisp.

I created the wreath using the Martha Stewart Branch Punch and mounted the foliage on a small cut circle.  You can check out my wreath and mini wreath tutorial if you would like to see step by step pictures of how I made this wreath. I added tiny flowers made using the MFT Pretty Posies and holly made from the Impression Obsession Twig Wreath set.  I love how sweet and festive it is against the all white background.

I get asked all the time about how I give my cards since they won’t fit in an envelope.  I found wonderful crystal clear boxes and wanted to share them with you. I consider my cards a gift of love to whoever receives them.  Presenting them in one of these boxes makes it all the more special.

The boxes are also the perfect size to hold a set of note cards and envelopes.

I hope you have a great week.  Don’t forget to check out my anniversary blog candy post for a chance to win a fun prize.

  1. This is lovely Kittie. I agree, the crystal clear box is perfect for presenting your cards, or as a safe way to ship a delicate 3D card. I also consider my cards to be little gifts and am very careful when I have to send one off in the mail.

  3. Happy 1000 and many more to come. I have been a crafter in one form or another for 50+ years starting out with doll clothes, children’s clothes, and all through the years. Into country painting, then into whatever was selling on the road. Retiring from all that I found your blog one day and this past year you have inspired me to amaze my husband and friends with your beautiful designs.Thank you for all you share so willingly and being a special internet friend. Talent like yours is a God given talent and we all look forward every day to see what you will be inspired to share. Thank you and keep up the good work 🙂

  4. Great wreath card, as always. I, too, love those clear boxes. I use them to mail my extra special, and thick, cards. I was surprised the postal service would take them, but they do. Postage ranges from $1.40 to $1.80, depending on how far it must travel. I figure people/postal handlers get to enjoy the card along its way to the recipient. LOL
