Framed Rolled Roses

Good Sunday morning.  I love making rolled roses so I pulled out my My Favorite Things Large Rolled Rose and Rolled Rose dies for my project this morning and paired with the Medium Leafy Flourish. I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals to create my double matted frame.

I began by rolling the roses around my tweezers,  assembling and attaching with glossy accents. I used my needle nose pliers to roll back the petals to create a more natural looking rose. I cut three of the flourishes and formed lightly with my stylus and molding pad.

I cut the frames and attached together with mounting tape.  I attached the frame to the card base with another layer of mounting tape to add definition and dimension.

I attached the roses in the center of the frame with glossy accents.  I cut the foliage pieces apart and arranged them around the roses and attached with glossy accents.

This is really one of my favorite kind of floral cards to make. It’s elegant and yet clean and simple with the all white background.  It really allows the roses and foliage to be the main focal point. This is a perfect card for any occasion and is nice to have on hand.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Sunday.

Card size:  5.50” x 4.25”
