Good Wednesday morning. Last year in December I posted the card you see below with a Bendi Frame and a winter snowy bunny scene.
Dina Kowal, Artist in Residence at Splitcoaststampers asked if I would be a guest Tutorial Author and create a Bendi Frame tutorial with a similar scene for SCS. I hope you will come on over and join me for my step by step photos and video tutorial.
The stamped trees and sponged sky was added to the card base to create the background for the scene. There are two layers of grass border attached to the card base with mounting tape.
Adding the bunny and grass to the back of the curved frame adds another level of dimension to the scene. The trees and bunnies were tucked in between the grass layers and attached with mounting tape and rolled glue dots .
This view from the top shows how far out the bent frame is from the base of the card.
The stamped trees and sponged sky in the background draws your eye in to the mini diorama.
You can find all the details of my snowy winter card on my post here.
I hope you will give this technique a try and upload your card to the Bendi Frame Gallery here.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”

Thank you for the excellent photo tutorial and the video. This is just what I was wishing for after I looked at your beautiful card yesterday. I really enjoyed your tutorial, it was so nice to hear your voice and your thoughts. Now I can really surprise special people with the bendi frame and the extra dimension. Have a great day!

This is so cute Kittie. Love all your scenery cards and the Bendi frame just
adds another great dimension to your card. Great tutorial and also enjoyed hearing your sweet voice.
Good Morning, Kittie Feel like we were connected by phone when I watched the SCS tutorial. It was so good to see your creation and here your voice. the personal touch. I love this Bendi frame, need to try it,think for those who don’t craft and receive the card, I will put a short note an tell them the name of the frame, and that it is supposed to bend for a dementia look.
A beautiful scene. By the way, I have mailed cards like your tutorial for flowers etc, and they all have arrived safe and intact; even overseas. thank sooo sooo much for your inspiration, and teaching……have a good day….Hugs.
woohooo, I opened my email from splitcoaststampers this morning and there you were…. I was so tickled to see you there… Loved the card, as always, and thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity……
I saw you on SCS this morning too and was thinking, Hey, I know who made that card. 🙂 This is yet another super fabulous creation.
Big Hugs,

Such a sweet design. It would be very hard for me to send off in the mail – but so fun to receive. Thanks for your sharing.
Love that you shared how to do this, I just love the depth it gives, as wonderful as your last card!
What a fun scene. Almost wish I was playing around with those bunnies in the forest.
