image

Welcome to day 2 of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Release Designer Hop.  We have some beautiful new stamps to share and gift certificates to give away each day!!!  You will want to hop on over to the Impression Obsession blog to get all the details. I know you are going to love all the team projects you are going to see this week.

Today’s hop list!

Karen Amidon

Kittie Caracciolo

Vicki Garrett

My project today was made using the new Spooky Tree paired with the Halloween Set and Fence Border.

  Spooky Trees

I love to create dimensional scenes that are highlighted with a frame.  To me orange and black are the perfect color choices for Halloween.  I stamped the tree image with black versafine on a piece of retired Halloween designer paper and heat embossed with black embossing powder and attached it to the card base.

I created a double matted frame using Matting Basics A and B, attached the fence border to the back of the frame and attached the frame to the card base with mounting tape.

I cut all the bat, haunted house and flying witch in black and then embossed with black embossing powder to give them a shine to match the tree background.  Too bad it doesn’t show in the photos.  I attached them in the scene with mounting tape and rolled glue dots.  I finished by adding the little white ghost.

Thanks for stopping in today.  I hope you enjoy the design team blog hop.

Card size:  5.50” x 4.25”

The Making Memories Halloween Embellishment paper is retired as far as I know.  I have had it for years. I searched for links but didn't find any.

  1. This is amazing! Love the stamps and dies you used! The Halloween colour combo of orange and black is one of my favourites! It’s always such a pleasure to see your cards! I just subscribed by email. I wanted to mention your Subscribe tab at the top is a little wonky so you might want to have a look. I used the email link on the side and it seemed to work fine.

  2. This is just over-the-top adorable Kittie, I love it! So perfect for a child’s Halloween! I used to make cards for my kids, nieces and nephews when they were little and send treats . . . now they’re all grown. Oh well, soon maybe grandkids and great-nieces and nephews . . . LOL! I just adore this adorable creation!

  4. Another great dimensional Kittie scene. The shiny shows up on that little bat
on the left hand side on the frame so can imagine the other items being shiny
    too. Love the tree stamp.

  10. I’ve got to remember to stamp on dp like you did here. Embossing the other images is another way that you pay attention to the details. Gorgeous card, as usual!
