Good Wednesday morning. It’s Holiday Blitz week over at Splitcoaststampers offering a whole week of fun holiday projects and tutorials. I am the guest tutorial author today and am sharing a video showing how I make my evergreen wreaths. My project today is a wreath embellished with a tiny holiday village made using the Impression Obsession Town Builder die set and the Martha Stewart Branch Punch. The background was made using the My Mind’s Eye Cozy Christmas paper.
You can check out my step by step photos and video tutorial to see how I assembled the wreath. When I was finished adding all the green branches I added a few white ones here and there to make it look snow covered.
I cut all the little houses in red and again in white. I cut the roof sections off the white and attached them to the red houses using glossy accents. I tucked the houses in between the branches and attached with glossy accents. I added the bright red multi loop bow for the finishing touch.
I hope you will check out my tutorial to see how easy this wreath was to make. You can find links to other wonderful Holiday Blitz tutorials on the SCS homepage and tutorial page. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
Oh my what a pretty and unusual looking wreath, its gorgeous. Love how you used the little houses mixed in with the branches and the background paper is perfect.
Beautiful and very clever….you are amazing.
Great card! Thanks for the video!
Good Afternoon, Kittie. OH!MY! what an unusual wreath with the little houses. You are so clever, and thanks so much for your video. I love every bit of your creation. Have a good day.
Kittie….. As always, I loved your card and really loved the wreath tutorial on SplitCoastStampers. I’ve still got time to give it a try….lol. Thank you again for always sharing your creativity…..
I just watched your tutorial over at SCS. It was so helpful! I’ve always struggled with getting my little wreaths even and full. Now I know how–left, right, center. Perfection! Thank you!
Wow. Just wow. You can create like no other.
I LOVE this wreath you’ve created! ♥ It is so full and joyful.
I’m just curious, how do you send your dimensional cards through the mail?
Jana, here’s a link to a tutorial on my bog showing a couple ways I mail my dimensional cards. http://www.kittiekraft.com/packaging-and-mailing-card-tutorial.html
My favorite is to use the crystal clear boxes that I get at Ellen Hutson’s and send in a padded envelope. There is a link to the boxes at the end of the tutorial. I sure hope this helps.
