How To Make Embossing Paste Look Like Snow Video

How about adding embossing paste snow to your winter cards – here’s how!

I am really excited to share my way of how to make embossing paste look like snow because it’s SO easy and it looks SO good in real life – the photos just don’t do it justice! If you are like me, once you try this one time you will be LOOKING for excuses to make winter cards to add it!

learn how to make embossing paste look like snow as done here on the branches of a stamped and shaded pine tree on a handmade greeting card

This is a very simple layout that allows the snow covered Pine Tree to be the star of the card.  The tree was stamped on the white layer with black ink and colored using mini applicators and Distress Inks.  The tree layer was attached to the decorative scallop layer using ATG adhesive and was attached to the green card base with mounting tape.  The small sentiment layer was cut using the scalloped die, stamped with  black ink and attached to the tree layer using mounting tape.

I love using white embossing paste to create snowy scenes but it also works great to create seafoam on beach scenes.  Take a look at my Handmade Christmas with Dogs and Summer Beach Card for more embossing paste inspiration.
