More easy Christmas cards you can make in minutes and they will NEVER guess how easy it was!
You all know I love making all kinds of holiday cards using lots of die cuts like my New Take on a Christmas Tree and today I am showing off how to use a single die, a single greeting and some patterned paper to make easy Christmas cards that only LOOK like they were a ton of work. This card is so simple yet all that layering adds a richness that gives an overall impression of a much more complicated card.

The Card Base and Sentiment
- Cut an A2 sized card base and a 5.50″ x 4.25″ piece of designer paper. Note: This designer paper is from one of the Scrapbook.com Exclusives paper pads and it is retired.
- Attach the designer paper to the card base using ATG adhesive.
- Cut a white strip of cardstock to fit your sentiment and wide enough to fit across the card.
- Stamp the sentiment using a green ink.
- Cut a red strip 1/4″ larger than the sentiment strip and attach them together using ATG adhesive.
- Attach the sentiment layer to the card base using ATG adhesive.
The Tree and Star
- Cut the Slimline Christmas Tree sections using green cardstock and the star using gold metallic cardstock.
- Use your finger to curl up the bottom fringe of each tree section.
- Start at the bottom to attach the tree sections together using glossy accents and a small piece of mounting tape.
- Spray the tree with clear shimmer spray. Note: The shimmer spray is so pretty but doesn’t show well in the pictures.
- Attach the star to the top of the tree using glossy accents.
- Apply mounting tape to the back of the tree and attach it to the card base.

As much as I love creating little works of art, I have to say that having this design for easy Christmas cards that I can make in just a few minutes will be a lifesaver. Think of all the times you realize you’ve run out of cards and remember “just one more” person. Or need something to tuck a little tip inside. Or even just one more card to use to thank someone who did you a favor. These easy Christmas cards are the perfect solution!
