Handmade Golf Card Ideas For Golfers

Do you have golfers on your list of family and friends?  I love all the golf themed dies and sentiments by Brass and Bliss and the endless possibilities for making wonderful projects. Today I’m sharing several of my golf card ideas along with  a new one using the Golfers Silhouette along with the Golf Cart, Golf Bag and Flag Stick, Deckle Hills, Deckle Frame and Golf Phrases.

The Card Base, Grass and Frame

  • Cut an A2 sized card base using light blue cardstock.
  • Use Nocturne ink to stamp the sentiment on the card base.
  • Use red cardstock to cut the Deckle Frame and black cardstock to cut the Nested Rectangle frame.
  • Cut  Deckle Hill layers using green cardstock . Attach one to the card base  and one to the back of the frame using ATG adhesive
  • Apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attach it to the card base.

Golf Cart, Golf Bag and Flag

  • Cut the golf cart and bag using coordinating colors.
  • Cut the tires using black cardstock.
  • Assemble the main base pieces of the cart and attach using glossy accents.
  • Use rolled double stick tape to attach the fenders to the cart base.
  • Finish by assembling the tire and covers and attach them together and to the cart using glossy accents.
  • Cut and assemble the golf bag sections and golf clubs and attach using glossy accents.
  • Use red and white cardstock to cut the stick and flag and assemble using glossy accents.
  • Tuck the flag behind one of the grass layers and attach using a piece of mounting tape and  glossy accents.
  • Attach the golf cart to the base using pieces of mounting tape.

Paper Piece the Golfer Silhouette

  • Cut the golfer using white, red and green cardstock.
  • Color the skin tones using a light beige marker and the shoes with a black marker.
  • Trim off the red shirt section and attach to the body base Nuvo glue.
  • Cut the green pants section, apply shading using a small blending brush and green ink and attach to the body using Nuvo glue.
  • Cut a black belt and white shirt trim and attach them to the base using glue.
  • Apply double thick pieces of mounting tape to the golfer and attach to the  base.
